Its Japanese based story is so cute and lovely that at the end I felt like crying and shedding some tears with those old couple over the crane’s leaving them behind and flying away :’-(
Btw, I watched this for the first time on the Iranian channel some 20 or so years ago when I was a little kid! *sigh* those were the days ^_^
